Folk music septuagenarian Bob Dylan isn't usually known for his vocal chops, but he's taken on the task of covering one of the 20th century's most iconic singers. He just released a Frank Sinatra cover, which will appear on a forthcoming album.
Although the full details of the impending collection have yet to be confirmed, Dylan has updated his website with a version of "Full Moon & Empty Arms," which was a hit for Sinatra back in 1945.
Rolling Stone confirmed with the 72-year-old's representatives that this is part of a larger project. "This track is definitely from a forthcoming album due later on this year," a rep said.
It's currently unknown whether the project will feature original material, or if it will be entirely covers. For now, though, listen to the Sinatra cover below.
The album title hasn't been confirmed, although the splash page of Dylan's website shows an image with the words Shadows in the Night. The image looks an awful lot like it could be the album cover; see it above.
Dylan is touring Europe this summer. His new album will be the follow-up to 2012's Tempest.
