Boards of Canada have been promoting their new Tomorrow's Harvest LP in some unique ways (see the mini-clip 12-inch eBay fiasco), and the duo kept things mysterious early this morning (May 22) by premiering a video on a screen in downtown Tokyo.
We're not quite sure what to make of the fan video of the screening that you'll find down below, but apparently the ambient new age music you hear is from the new LP. As for the visuals, they're being filmed from too far way to tell exactly what's going on. All you'll see are blurs and flashes. It's unclear at present if Boards of Canada will release the video properly, or if this was a one-time viewing.
Boards of Canada's Tomorrow's Harvest will be available on June 11 via Warp.
Big thanks to FACT for the heads-up.
