Blur's reunion is over, as singer Damon Albarn announced yesterday (April 20) that the band's Coachella performance was likely their "last gig."

Before the set-closing "Tender," Albarn paused and told the audience, "This is probably our last gig."

Earlier in the set, Albarn pushed back against reports from what he called the "world media" about his comments during Coachella's first weekend. After the crowd didn't sing along to "Boys & Girls" loudly enough, Albarn said, "You're never seeing us again, so you might as well fucking sing it!"

At the time, this was widely reported to be a rejection of Coachella — but Albarn clarified during the second weekend, "I love Coachella." Rather, it seems that the reason Coachella will be "never seeing us again" is because the band are calling it quits.

The news that Blur's reunion is over doesn't come as a surprise. Back in December, Albarn said that he was ready to "wrap up this campaign," as "it's too much for me."
