Blink-182 Part Ways with Interscope

After releasing just one album for the label, pop-punk heroes Blink-182 have split from their label Interscope Records.

Late last night (October 23), guitarist Tom Delonge tweeted "Freedom!! Blink as of today, is now an independent Artist!!!!!" The tweet was accompanied by a screenshot of Mel Gibson in Braveheart. The band's only album for the label was last year's Neighborhoods.

As for a seventh album, Mark Hoppus recently told NME that "We're starting to write the new record right now. We're going to tour Australia in February with Blink... [so the] proper tour and the new album probably won't happen for about a year." In the meantime, check out the video for "After Midnight," from Neighborhoods, below.
