A little over a month on from initially announcing the LP, Detroit MC Black Milk has delivered his FEVER full-length, and you can hear the entire thing right now.
Arriving today through Mass Appeal/Computer Ugly, FEVER marks Black Milk's first proper solo outing since 2014's If There's a Hell Below. Across 12 tracks, the album is said to evoke "the feeling of scrolling through an endless news feed, finding Black Milk reporting and commenting on the world's problems with empathy, clarity, and wit."
The MC is backed by a crew of musicians that includes percussionists Chris "Daddy" Dave (D'Angelo, Adele, Justin Bieber) and Daru Jones (Jack White), bassist Malik Hunter, keyboardist Ian Fink and guitar player Sasha Kashperko. The album also features additional vocals from Dwele, Aaron "Ab" Abernathy and Sudie.
