Black Dahlia Murder Set to Tour Canada with Children of Bodom and Skeletonwitch

BY Keith CarmanPublished Sep 8, 2009

There's been a lot of speculation about how Michigan-based death metal brigade Black Dahlia Murder's new album will sound. Their fourth full-length overall, the effort is called Deflorate and will be blasted onto the masses as of September 15 via Metal Blade Records. Most are hoping it gets even heavier and features more rage than last affair Nocturnal, though that was no slouch.

Well, even if you don't have the pennies to grab the album, maybe you can still check out a few tunes live. Then again, most concert tickets cost more than records, but whatever. The point is that BDM (as they call themselves) are about to hit the road in support of this ten-track outing.

They're coming with equally awesome blackened thrash metal outfit Skeletonwitch, who are touring in support of their latest recording, Breathing the Fire (Prosthetic). And while you'd figure that a band as grandiose as Black Dahlia Murder would be the headliner, sadly it just isn't so. They're actually direct support for fellow Finnish thrash-y/death-y pretty boys Children of Bodom. But still, all three will part of what's being called the Blooddrunk Tour, which Exclaim! and our Aggressive Tendencies section are proud to sponsor.
