Bishop Nehru and DOOM Team Up for New Project

Metal-faced rap icon DOOM is no stranger to team-ups, having previously worked with Madlib for Madvillainy, or more recently with JJ Jneiro for their Key to the Kuffs LP as JJ DOOM. Up next for the supervillain is a collaboration with rising teen rapper Bishop Nehru.

Details are supremely slim at present, but Lex posted today (August 8) that it has signed the 16-year-old spitter for an as-yet-undetailed team-up with DOOM, which will be released later this year. The release, whether LP, EP or single, will be co-presented by Noizy Cricket. Though we have no info on the tunes, there's a snazzy cartoon portrait of the pair floating around, which you can see up above.

New York native Nehru has made a name for himself this year via the release of two mixtapes, Nehruvia and Strictly Flowz, and you can see a video for the former's "Fickle Mind$" down below.

Meanwhile, DOOM has his Butter Version of Key to the Kuffs hitting stores August 20 through Lex.
