Bishop Nehru and DOOM

"Caskets"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 19, 2014

While Bishop Nehru and DOOM are just about to drop their aptly titled NehruvianDOOM, the teen rhymer and the villainous beatsmith are serving up a last-minute sneak peek called "Caskets" that has both artists killing it on the mic.

As he says it himself, DOOM's like a puma on the prowl, attacking tactless MCs in his signature deadpan flow. Above a soulful sample of quiet storm synths, the man in the iron mask further targets "chickens before they hatch in the basket" before passing the mic to fledgling spitter Bishop Nehru. The teen takes it to the hoop like a '90s era Air Jordan as he describes his passion for rapping.

You can check out the track below, while the tag-team album lands September 23 through Lex Projects/Noizy Cricket. You can also read Exclaim!'s full review of NehruvianDOOM over here.
