Billy Idol is celebrating the 40th anniversary of his landmark album Rebel Yell this summer with a cross-Canada tour with Platinum Blonde. It will bring the legendary rocker to 13 cities across nine provinces.
Kicking things off on July 30 at Vancouver's Rogers Arena, Idol's show will include myriad hits from throughout his career, but give special focus to the Rebel Yell tracks. He'll play two shows in Alberta (Edmonton on August 1 and Calgary on August 2) ahead of single-provincial stops in Saskatoon (August 5) and Winnipeg (August 6).
Then, Idol descends upon Ontario, performing at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena (August 9), Ottawa's Canadian Tire Centre (August 10) and London's Budweiser Gardens (August 14). Two Quebec shows (Montreal on August 16 and Quebec City on August 19) follow before the tour heads out east for its final concerts in Moncton (August 21), Halifax (August 23) and St. John's (August 25).
Tickets go on sale Friday (April 12) at 10 a.m. local time and presales start tomorrow (April 9). Find the itinerary in its entirety below.
