In addition to making up half of Body Breaks and playing in Chandra's band, Julie Reich makes solo synth-punk music under the moniker Bile Sister. The Toronto artist has now shared a video for "Have You Seen Your Eyes Lately?" from the recent album Living on the Edge (out through We Are Time), and she's also booked a few tour dates.
"Have You Seen Your Eyes Lately" features Pantayo members Kat and Katrina Estacio on kulitang gong, as well as Goosebump's Neil Rankin on sax. The haunting, clattering song is a look in the mirror following an abusive relationship, and the video complements the eclectic instrumentation with a surreal glimpse into an art installation.
