Big Wreck Take 'Ghosts' on Canadian Fall Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jun 17, 2014

Of all the '90s bands to reunite in recent years, few have been more active than Big Wreck. They recently released Ghosts (their second album since 2012), and now they're preparing to hit the road for another tour of their home and native land.

Over the summer, Big Wreck have a small handful of scattered festival dates. The tour begins in earnest in September, when the band will kick off in Alberta before heading out to the West Coast and then backtracking east as far as Montreal. The tour eventually wraps up in Toronto almost a month after it started. See the schedule below.

VIP packages will go on sale tomorrow (June 18) at 11 a.m. EDT from the band's website, while the rest of the tickets will follow on Friday (June 20).

Frontman Ian Thornley said in a statement, "We are very excited to hit the road and hear these songs grow with the fans. This is still only our fourth studio album, there is still a lot that we want to accomplish, and much of that growth must come from live performance."
