Big Wreck has released "Bail Out," the first single from their upcoming six-track EP Pages, scheduled to release on November 24 via Sonic Unyon.
"Bail Out" is the first single from the record, and feels massive and sweeping — the heavy guitar riffing drives through the entire song, while Ian Thornley's vocals and slick harmonies add a luxurious weightlessness to the track. It's an epic — both immensely loaded and free-floating at the same time.
Pages is the first of a series of EPs the band produced at Toronto's Noble Street Studios with longtime friend and producer Nick Raskulinecz, running 18 tracks together.
According to a press release, the EP will cover all bases of Big Wreck's alt-rock prowess, touching on exploring new sound and texture, while also paying homage to their roots and dipping into some of the band's biggest influences for inspiration.
They'll take their new material on the road for a massive North American tour next month, performing 20 shows in Canada.
