It's the start of the workweek, so Big Boi has unveiled yet another instalment of his ongoing "Mashup Mondays" series. This time around, the ATLien has wrapped bars from his Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors cut "Shoes for Running" into an electro-reggae remix redubbed "Run Th3 World."
Familiar bars from Big Boi and B.o.B. are now set against the melancholic mid-'80s tick of reggae icons Third World's stirring "How Can You," while Wavves' Nathan Williams and a choir of kids deliver their animated chorus over an ultra-minimalist arrangement.
Like previous "Mashup Mondays" offerings, the single comes equipped with some old-school CGI visuals. This time around, you get to see a snake slithering and bobbing its head to the beat. You can see it grooving in the video down below.
