Beyoncé has unveiled a video for her recent single "Spirit," which appears on both The Lion King OST and her upcoming companion album The Lion King: The Gift.
The visuals keep in line with Bey's intention of writing a "love letter to Africa," showcasing the continent's landscapes, people and vibrant culture.
Of course, there are also a few scenes from Jon Favreau's live-action remake of The Lion King thrown in, and Beyoncé and JAY-Z's eldest daughter Blue Ivy makes a few appearances.
The video premiered last night (July 16) during an ABC special dubbed The Lion King: Can You Feel the Love Tonight with Robin Roberts.
"I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa, and not just use some of the sounds and did my interpretation of it," Beyoncé said in an interview during the TV special.
