Balam Acab and Active Child Team Up for Co-Headlining North American Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 29, 2012

Last year saw both hazy, Pennsylvania beatsmith Balam Acab (aka Alec Koone) and electro-minded harpist Active Child (aka Pat Grossi) deliver buzzed-about full-lengths, and the projects will team up to bring their ethereal tunes to the masses on an upcoming co-headlining tour of North America.

The musicians start up their joint trip in late April, but will wind up in Canada mid-May for two shows. First up is a performance at Montreal's Il Motore on May 14, and both acts will head to Toronto the next night for a gig at Lee's Palace.

Balam Acab will be supporting his 2011 full-length Wander I Wonder, which he described as "not classical music, but in the tradition of a classical work like a Bach cello suite," while Active Child is still on the road promoting his Vagrant Records debut You Are All I See.
