We previously named Canadian crossover jazz trio BADBADNOTGOOD's forthcoming collaboration with rap icon Ghostface Killah one our most anticipated albums of 2015, and now these acts have shed some more light on what's in store in the form of the track "Tone's Rap."
BADBADNOTGOOD keep things laid back here, holding down a mellow groove with slow drums and bass along with atmospheric elements. Ghostface, on the other hand, delivers his aggressive rhymes with a strained urgency, and as the track builds with a drumroll, the rapper declares, "Pimping ain't easy but it sure is fun."
