B-17

"Another Noctural Day" (video)

Heavy psych outfit B-17 (which features members of the Hoa Hoa's, Action Makes and Easy Targets) have been tearing up the Toronto music scene ever since the release of their first-ever EP, Wishing Won't Make It So, on Canadian indie label Optical Sounds last November. But after a year gigging in support of the release, the garage rock combo are ready to issue their first music video from the five-song set. Watch "Another Nocturnal Day" in the player below.

In this lo-fi clip, catch the artsy four-piece as they travel across the country and play live at a modest club. Interspersed with unfocused footage of the band goofing around before a show and getting reckless onstage, the video's shambolic nature perfectly captures the song's groovy vibe, as it progresses from a minimalist country-rock number into an array of fuzzed-out guitars and chugging bass lines.

But if that's not enough for you, check out the band live during a select number of dates listed below, including a performance tonight (October 25) in support of Seraphic Light's official album release at Toronto's Silver Dollar Room.

Tour dates:

10/25 Toronto, ON - Silver Dollar Room *
11/11 Toronto, ON - Lee's Palace ^

* with Broken Bricks, the Folk, Seraphic Lights
^ with Spindrift and the Auras
