Axl Rose's Ex-Wife Auctioning Off Singer's Clothes, Love Letters and a Pile More Personal Items

Guns 'N Roses frontman Axl Rose was married to model Erin Everly for less than a year in the early '90s, but she's now unloading some person items from their short-lived union via Julien's Auctions.

Among the personal items going under the gavel are various notes and love letters that Rose penned to Everly, a Gold Record for Appetite for Destruction, various articles of clothing, original photographs (including some from childhood), journal pages, handwritten lyrics, a wedding video, his marriage certificate with Everly, personal trinkets and more.

There are a few dozen items in total, and they can be perused (or bid on) right here. Even if Axl Rose's public persona can be occasionally aggravating, it's difficult to not feel a little uncomfortable about some of these extremely private items. The letters are particularly personal, with Rose making declarations of love; in one batch of breakup notes, the singer writes, "Think of me when you wipe yo ass." Yikes.

The items will be sold on December 6 as part of Julien's "Icons and Idols 2013: Rock N' Roll" collection.

Everly is the daughter of Everly Brothers singer Don Everly. It's worth pointing out that, even though she was only married to Rose for a matter of months, they dated for several years before that. He reportedly wrote the song "Sweet Child o' Mine" about her, and she appeared in the accompanying music video.
