Toronto electro-pop unit Austra debuted their latest record Future Politics live at a hometown show this past weekend, and they've just kicked off the U.S. leg of their North American tour. Fans everywhere can get a glimpse of the band's latest work from the comfort of their own home, though, thanks to a new video.

Album cut "I Love You More Than You Love Yourself" has been given the visual treatment from director M Blash, and the clip takes its inspiration from the story of American astronaut Lisa Nowak.

"M and I were both fascinated by the story of Lisa Nowak but wanted to explore it through a lens of compassion," frontwoman Katie Stelmanis said in a statement. "We wanted to use it to explore issues of mental health and depression, things so many of us experience, in the hope of further de-stigmatizing such conversations. We've decided to focus the actions leading up to her final arrest, and have tried to convey what it may have been like to be her, and what she was feeling. The final chapter of her story is much less interesting to us than that."
