Avant-pop outfit Austra announced their new full-length Future Politics last month and have now revealed plans to take the new record on the road for a month with the first leg of a North American tour.

The band will start the month-long trek with back-to-back dates in Canada, playing Toronto's Mod Club Theatre on January 20 and Montreal's Fairmount Theatre on January 21. From there, the itinerary will take them through the United States, with a handful dates featuring support from the Range. Tickets for all shows are on sale now, and you can find them here.

Alongside the tour announcement, the Katie Stelmanis-led project have shared a remix of leading single "Utopia" done by UK producer Ikonika.

As previously reported, Future Politics will arrive on January 20 through Domino/Pink Fizz Records, offering up a set of "urgent, but disciplined anthems" that are as suited to headphones as they are to the dancefloor. Scroll through the tour itinerary and hear Ikonika's rework of "Utopia" in the player below.
