This "Hootie and the Blowfish" cover band features members who were cut from the TV show Making of a Band. Maybe they weren't pretty enough, or just too Canadian, but they do have mainstream written all over them. Their songs have substance abuse in the girl department and are much like the tunes you'd hear at your local small-town bar. Frozen in the '80s, love ballad clichés, they win the girls over with sappy lines like, "I'm not the superman you think I am." This band gets a big F - it's got tambourines for god's sake! The scary thing is, if they were American, I bet they'd go platinum.
