Without question, Arcade Fire's Funeral stands as a true classic in the world of Canadian indie rock. And with the 2004 record now about to mark its 15th anniversary, it's no surprise the band will be celebrating the milestone.

Today Arcade Fire announced a series of Funeral anniversary plans. But rather than give fans a celebratory physical reissue, the band will be marking the occasion purely in the digital realm by sharing a series of previously unreleased videos, live footage, archival images and more from the Funeral era.

The celebrations properly get underway on September 14, the same day the band initially released Funeral via Merge Records 15 years ago.

A press release outlines the upcoming anniversary material as follows:

Previously Unseen Videos
Behind-the-scenes footage from the band's personal archive plus rare live performances.

Band Archive Photo Slideshows
Never-before-seen photos from the making of Funeral, a complete Anton Corbijn shoot plus tour memorabilia including calendars, journal entries and early fliers and posters, will all be revealed.

Funeral Spotify Canvas
In the run up to the anniversary, a bespoke canvas video for each album has been revealed by the band, ending where it all began – with Funeral.

Ahead of time, you can already watch a remastered video for the classic Funeral track "Rebellion (Lies)" down below.
