Arcade Fire have been tapped to replace Foo Fighters as one of this year's Osheaga headliners.
The Foos cancelled all of their upcoming tour dates shortly after the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins, including their scheduled appearance at the 15th anniversary edition of the renowned Montreal festival. Today, Osheaga organizers announced who would fill their headlining slot: staples of the city's very own indie scene.
Arcade Fire join fellow headliners A$AP Rocky and Dua Lipa at Parc Jean-Drapeau, with the longstanding Canadian outfit set to close out the festival's first day on Friday (July 29). The full lineup was unveiled back in February.
If you find yourself newly swayed, weekend passes and single-day tickets for Osheaga are available here.
