Arcade Fire Cover Harry Styles in BBC Radio 2's Live Lounge

The band put their spin on "As It Was"

Now that WE is out in the world, Arcade Fire season is finally in full swing: the band played SNL last weekend and are scheduled to take the stage at this weekend's Juno Awards, but not before stopping by the renowned BBC Radio 2 Live Lounge to record a rendition of the latest Harry Styles hit.

Filmed in black and white for inexplicable reasons (other than it being classy?), the indie heroes put their spin on the scintillating synthpop of recent chart-topper "As It Was" from the pop star's forthcoming third album, Harry's House.

They effectively made it sound like an Arcade Fire song, and it didn't even take a lot of tweaking; though Win did insert his name into the "Harry, you're no good alone" line. It could have been a great opportunity to take things a step further by making it, "Win, you've got everything now" — especially with the recent crusade to defend the band's "maligned" previous album, 2017's Everything Now — but whatever, it's fine!

Watch the performance below.

Arcade Fire and Styles both recently announced big ol' tours to support their respective new records.
