Aphex Twin Revives AFX for 'Orphaned Deejay Selek (2006-2008)'

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jul 2, 2015

Aphex Twin (real name Richard D. James) has been incredibly prolific since dropping Syro last year, sharing playlists, EPs and anonymous rarities, and now he's reviving an old moniker for a new release. We haven't heard anything from James's AFX project since his Analord series over the course of 2003 to 2005, but that's about to change with a new LP.

Titled Orphaned Deejay Selek (2006-2008), the album will arrive on August 21 via Warp.

The label notes that the new record will be available as 12-inch vinyl, CD (both in die-cut and spot glossed sleeves), digital download and through online streaming services.

You can scroll past the tracklisting to listen to a new track titled "Serge Fenix Rendered 2" below, and then head over here to pre-order the album.
