A$AP Yams Dead at 26

A$AP Yams, a prominent founding member of the A$AP Mob, has passed away. He was 26.

Born Steven Rodriquez, Yams had more of a behind-the-scenes role in the Mob, often compared to Dame Dash or Diddy.

Yams' cause of death is unknown, but as MissInfo points out, Yams had previously been treated for drug addiction related to Xanax and codeine abuse. "That lean shit corny now i apologize for even glorifying that bullshit its embarrassing it destroyed too many lives," he tweeted in 2012.

His last tweet, however, was also a reference to sipping lean.
