A$AP Rocky's Alleged Shooting Victim Self-Identifies as Former A$AP Mob Member

A$AP Relli (a.k.a. Terell Ephron) is suing the rapper over the 2021 incident

Back in April, A$AP Rocky was arrested in connection with a shooting that took place in Los Angeles last year. The alleged victim has now come forward as former A$AP Mob member A$AP Relli, a.k.a. Terell Ephron, and announced his plans to file a civil lawsuit against the rapper born Rakim Mayers; his friend from high school.

The alleged shooting took place on November 6, 2021, near Vista Del Mar and Selma Avenue. Ephron claimed he was approached by Mayers and two unidentified men on the street with a handgun, the rapper allegedly started shooting at the victim — who police have yet to confirm as Ephron — three to four times and once grazing his hand with a bullet.

Ephron is now publicly accusing Mayers of luring him to the obscure central Hollywood location, "to discuss a disagreement between the two of them," as per a statement announcing the lawsuit that attorneys Jamal Tooson and Brian Hurwitz provided to Rolling Stone.

"Unbeknownst to Mr. Ephron, A$AP Rocky was not just planning for a conversation and came armed with a semi-automatic handgun," the statement read, going on to claim that the entire incident was captured by nearby surveillance cameras. "After arriving at the location, a conversation ensued whereby without provocation, warning, or any justification, A$AP Rocky produced the handgun and intentionally fired multiple shots at Mr. Ephron."

His attorneys allege that Ephron — a talent manager and producer who also has fashion and jewelry ventures — has been subjected to "multiple death threats and irreparable harm to his career in the entertainment industry as a result of this incident."

Despite his April arrest for assault with a deadly weapon, Mayers was quickly released on a $500,000 USD bond. He has not yet been charged in the incident (nor addressed it publicly), but is due to appear in court over the matter on August 17.
