A$AP Rocky Hit with New Lawsuit over Alleged Slapping Incident

Rap hotshot A$AP Rocky managed to avoid getting charged with assault after allegedly slapping a female fan during a concert last year. But even though he's not facing any criminal charges, he's now contending with a civil case over the incident.

The fan in question, Lisamarie Wade, filed a lawsuit against Rocky, along with Live Nation Entertainment, Roc Nation, and the security employees and employers from last year's Made in America festival in Philadelphia, on July 17 in U.S. Federal Court.

According to her claim [via Courthouse News Service], Wade has faced "muscle spasm, migraine headaches, intense pain that radiates from her shoulders and into her arms and fingers, and exacerbation of pre-existing conditions" since the altercation.

Wade is seeking both compensatory and punitive damages for assault and battery.

This isn't the first time Rocky has been sued over audience member injuries. Just a few months back, a fan filed a suit over an injury incurred following a stage dive (although the woman couldn't remember which performer at the show landed on her).
