Anti-Flag are calling it quits. The 1988-formed political punks — who released their latest album, Lies They Tell Our Children, back in January — have announced their sudden breakup in a very brief memo posted to their Patreon page, providing little context or details.

"Anti-Flag has disbanded," the post reads. "The Patreon has been switched into a mode where it will no longer charge a monthly fee. I will begin to process refunds to all patrons in the coming weeks. Once all refunds are processed the Patreon page will also be removed."

The rest of Anti-Flag's social media channels and website have already been removed in light of the disbandment, leaving fans with a lot of questions. As Stereogum pointed out, some Reddit users are speculating that a new episode of enough., a podcast dedicated to sexual assault in the music business, went live yesterday (July 19), wherein Kristina Sarhadi recounts reportedly being raped by the singer of a political punk band.

Although the accuser never mentioned the name of the perpetrator or his band, some are speculating that it's Anti-Flag's Justin Sane. She mentioned that the assault happened about 10 years ago, when her attacker was 40; Sane is now 50. Fans are also pointing to a post on a Tumblr called This Industry Ain't Safe, which suggests that Sane may have multiple accusers.

You can listen to the podcast episode below, but be forewarned that it is incredibly unsettling.
