Aussie brother and sister duo Angus and Julia Stone have garnered much attention in England and their native Australia. With a platinum-selling full-length debut, A Book Like This, six ARIA nominations and sold-out tours throughout Europe and Australia, as well as headlining the Great Escape (UK's most celebrated music festival), it was only a matter of time before the hype darlings would transfer some of that buzz to this side of the pond. The duo's work has already appeared on American major network television, including two tracks from their self-produced sophomore LP, Down the Way. Their success has been largely due to their remarkable ability to craft folk-infused pop confections that walk the line between commercial fluff and raw, guileless folk. For their self-produced sophomore LP, they've opted to sacrifice some of the homespun feel of their previous record for a more polished sound, with richer instrumentation and more complex songwriting. The melodies are catchier than ever and their singing has greatly improved without having lost any of its previous charm.
