Armed with just an acoustic guitar and a good, but rather regular voice, the charm with this young local songsmith is all in the way he uses his words. A poet of many colours, Theriault melted hearts with his stories. Hes got a penchant for lyrical imagery, which he delivered in an imbibed state akin to the Microphones, Jeff Tweedy or Daniel Johnston. While his mind was surely not at peace with the world, his fingers knew how to make things seem a bit better as he strummed catchy little ditties that are content in their simplicity yet laid down the backdrop to his extremely dynamic works of art.
