Alvvays are the latest group to guest on Amoeba Records' What's in my Bag? video series, and they snagged a few of their favourite albums for the occasion. On top of the many well-informed international selections they made, Molly Rankin and Alec O'Hanley also made sure to stay true to their CanCon roots.

While Exclaim! probably would've chosen Blue Rev if we were asked, O'Hanley opted for Canadian royalty, picking up Gordon Lightfoot's Endless Wire almost immediately, noting that he chose the "mid-era Gord" album mainly for its version of "The Circle Is Small" about a circular Toronto apartment.

Rankin, on the other hand, called Falling into You by Céline Dion "one of [her] favourite records growing up," and explained that it was given to her as a placeholder record because "Jagged Little Pill was too controversial at the time for a young girl."

We also get to hear Rankin's hot take on Oasis' Be Here Now, O'Hanley's thoughts on the censorship that lead to Nick Lowe's Jesus of Cool becoming Wireless World and a bit about the Rankin Family's love of Enya. Watch the whole video below.
