alt-J Bring 'An Awesome Wave' 10th Anniversary Tour to Toronto

They'll perform their debut album in its entirety across North America this November

Love it or hate it, alt-J undeniably orchestrated a Tumblrcore moment with the release of their debut album, An Awesome Wave, back in 2012. That was (unmercifully) more than a decade ago now, but the UK trio are bringing the moment back to life with a new run of 10th anniversary shows behind the album, including a lone Canadian date in Toronto.

"America, Canada, we just can't stay away," the band shared in a press release. "Back to end the year with a final run of An Awesome Wave anniversary shows. Only the best vibes, in some of the best cities on earth."

The nostalgia tour begins on November 9 in Austin, TX, with the band tessellating across the border about midway through the run to play the album front to back at Toronto's History on November 20. alt-J will complete the rest of the anniversary celebrations stateside, capping things off on December 5 in Portland, OR.

Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday (July 21). Before that, you can get your hands on presale tickets starting Wednesday (July 19) at 10 a.m. local time.
