R&B vet Alicia Keys issues her new Jamie XX-assisted LP Girl on Fire next Tuesday (November 27) through RCA records, but the singer opted to rep more than just her latest single when she stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon earlier this week, and delivered a hysterical and sizzling rendition of the theme song to '80s kids cartoon Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears.
It's played low-key, with the performer doling out some classy, knuckle-cracking piano runs before letting into breathy lines about the "courageous and caring" ursine bounders. The crowd doesn't seem to catch on to the comedy bit until Keys finally belts out the troupe's name, but they cheer her on by the time she soulfully reveals the secret of gummi berry juice.
