Now, A Tribe Called Quest's Ali Shaheed Muhammad has weighed in on the issue with a collaborative song called "CPR."
Produced by Muhammad, the track features JaPoet, David Luke and Merna (a.k.a. Canadian singer Ayah). It sports a darkly atmospheric beat and features politically-charged rapping and repetitions of the phrase "put your hands up" (a reference to allegations that Michael Brown had his hands up when he was shot).
