Alan Palomo hasn't released an album as Neon Indian since 2015's Vega Intl. Night School, and the last we heard from the synth-pop project was 2019's pro-immigrant one-off single "Toyota Man."
That (sort of) changes today with "Nudista Mundial '89," a new song released under Palomo's real name and featuring the recently returned Mac DeMarco. The song is a rubbery, 8-bit slice of '80s funk pop, and it features DeMarco speak-singing in a husky growl.
