A$AP Mob recently unveiled plans to take their show on the road for the "Too Cozy Tour," and now it looks as if audiences could be getting treated to some brand new material.
The hip-hop collective has announced the follow-up to last year's collaborative collection Cozy Tapes Vol. 1: Friends. The logically titled Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy is due out on August 25 via A$AP WORLDWIDE/Polo Grounds/RCA Records.
A full tracklist hasn't been released yet, but the forthcoming LP is expected to include recent single "RAF," which features an impressive roster of guests including Frank Ocean, Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo and Playboi Carti.
When Mob member A$AP Ferg spoke to Exclaim! last year about Cozy Tapes Vol. 1, he stressed the importance of being honest and paying homage to late co-founder A$AP Yams.
"Yams was a happy person, he wasn't a sad person," he said. "We wanted to embody him, his aesthetic and his vibe throughout the tape. Naturally, that's what came."
Other Mob members seem to be keeping that spirit alive this time around, with A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ant also shouting out their late collaborator via social media.
Along with the new A$AP Mob release, this month will see A$AP Twelvyy deliver his debut studio album 12 on August 4, while A$AP Ferg will drop his Still Striving mixtape on August 18.
While we await further details for A$AP Mob's forthcoming Cozy Tapes Vol. 2, check out their upcoming tour dates below and take another look at the "RAF" video.
