50 Cent Promises to Retire If He Loses to Kanye

As previously reported, September 11 marks one helluva showdown between Kanye West and 50 Cent. Well, it just got a whole lot more interesting.

According to Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, he is so confident that he will win the battle of record sales between the two hip-hop heavyweights that if he doesn't, he'll give up his solo career. In a statement, Fitty said: "Let's raise the stakes. If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, I'll no longer [perform] music. I'll write music and work with my other artists, but I won't put out any more solo albums."

You promise? Quite a few people are hoping so, judging by the oddsmaking website Bodog.com. According to its statistics, Kanye's Graduation is currently the favourite ahead of Fitty's Curtis.
