In the flurry of Disney announcement today, news has also emerged that we're indeed getting a new Indiana Jones movie — and Harrison Ford is returning to star.
So far, details are super thin, but Indiana Jones 5 is slated to go into production this spring, with the film aiming for a release on July 29, 2022. As previously reported, James Mangold will be directing.
But while Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy confirmed Ford would be back, there was no mention of Chris Pratt, who has been rumoured to be attached to the project.
According to Kennedy, Indiana Jones 5 promises "to conclude this iconic character's journey"
