Lifetime has shared a new trailer for Surviving R. Kelly: The Final Chapter, the third and, obviously, final installment of their Surviving R. Kelly docuseries following previous installments Surviving R. Kelly and Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning.
Again featuring Dream Hampton at the helm, the final segment will air in two parts on January 2 and 3. The first episode will document the abuse, intimidation, and eventual courtroom testimony of Azriel Clary, while the second episode focuses on a survivor identified as Jane Doe 1, plus the victim impact statements of other survivors. Each episode airs at 8 p.m. ET or PT, depending on where you're at.
In June, R. Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison on a federal sex crimes case. Since then, he's been found guilty on three separate counts of child pornography and three counts of enticement of a minor.
An album allegedly released by Kelly — his camp has denied involvement, as has Kelly's former label Sony — called I Admit It was dropped last week.
