At long last, director David Lowery is giving us a follow-up to his incredible 2017 effort A Ghost Story. This time, though, he's changing things up big time, with his upcoming The Green Knight going full high fantasy — something you can see with the film's promising first trailer.
The Green Knight stars Dev Patel, and the film is a take on the 14th century poem "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight." Patel plays Gawain, who is King Arthur's nephew and Knight of the Round Table tasked with battling a seriously creepy looking Green Knight.
As you'll witness, Lowery's upcoming effort looks more Dark Souls than Game of Thrones, with plenty of horror touches running throughout the trailer.

In addition to Patel, the film stars Joel Edgerton, Barry Keoghan, Ralph Ineson and Alicia Vikander. It will arrive via A24 and hit theatres on May 29.
