David Lowery's long-awaited follow-up to 2017's A Ghost Story is finally coming. We saw a teaser for The Green Knight before, you know, everything fell apart. But now the movie has a full-blown trailer and a summer release date.
The Green Knight stars Dev Patel, and the film is a take on the 14th century poem "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight." In the full trailer, you'll see plenty of fascinating and creepy-looking fantasy characters, from a beheaded talking tree man to all manner of lumbering giants.
In addition to Patel, the film stars Joel Edgerton, Barry Keoghan, Ralph Ineson and Alicia Vikander. It was produced by A24 and has a release date of July 30 (although, of course, a Canadian release rollout might look a little different).
