He's played an extreme bike messenger in Premium Rush and an extreme masturbator in Don Jon, but Joseph Gordon-Levitt will take his extremes to new heights in the new film The Walk.
Directed by Robert Zemeckis, the film tells the true story of Philippe Petit's daring tight-rope walk across the two towers of the World Trade Centre. Previously explored in the documentary Man on Wire, The Walk marks the first biopic on the subject.
There's no denying that Gordon-Levitt's hammy accent cold certainly prove to be a distraction, but the extremity of the walk will likely look pretty damn intense when it's seen in IMAX 3D.
