Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is coming out on July 14, 2023, and that can only mean one thing: more absolutely deranged stunts in which Tom Cruise puts his life on the line for a mind-blowing action sequence. Now, the actor has shared a nine-minute video detailing an absurdly ambitious and perilous stunt.
The stunt involves Cruise quite literally driving a motorcycle off a cliff in Hellesylt, Norway. As the video reveals, he trained by doing 500 skydives and 13,000 motocross jumps. Once it was time to film, he drove his motorcycle off a ramp on top of the cliff six times in one day.
"I always wear my earplugs so I don't hear myself scream," Cruise tells the camera with a supervillain cackle. Director Christopher McQuarrie hints that there are even more ambitious plans for Mission: Impossible 8.
Watch the very intense video down below. From the looks of things, it's going to be even wilder than the times he climbed on the outside of the Burj Khalifa or was strapped to the outside of a plane as it took off.
