'Tiger King' Star Jeff Lowe Claims He Knows Where Carole Baskin's Missing Husband Is

There have been countless theories pertaining to the whereabouts of Carole Baskin's missing husband, Don Lewis, which over the years have ranged from mildly believable to truly absurd. And now, Tiger King super villain Jeff Lowe has his own wacky idea, thanks to an anonymous tip.

Lowe and his wife Lauren say they received a letter addressed to their Tiger King Park in Oklahoma back in May 2020 that suggests Lewis is buried under Baskin's Big Cat Rescue property in Tampa.

In a video shared with TMZ, the Lowes read the handwritten letter out loud. It says, "The corpse lies under Her House" and was signed "The Faithful Witness."

The letter had no return address, but Lauren and Jeff said the envelope was postmarked in Providence, RI. The couple held onto the letter up until recently, despite Hillsborough County forensic authorities' request to have it examined for DNA testing and fingerprinting.

The letter will likely factor into the forthcoming follow-up to Tiger King Season 1, as Jeff only turned it over to law enforcement after Netflix wrapped Season 2.

As for Carole Baskin, her current husband Howard Baskin has come to her defence, saying that the letter is just a hoax cooked up by the Lowes.

"This is just another stupid stunt by Lowe to deflect from his own legal troubles," he told TMZ. "Only a moron would think that an anonymous letter has any value."

The Baskins have already announced that they won't be participating in the new season of Tiger King, so they may not get the chance to set the record straight on film. That said, they did make it pretty clear why they aren't participating in the Netflix series during Louis Theroux's recent Tiger King doc, as well as well addressed Don Lewis' disappearance in a very reasonable manner.

Meanwhile, the titular Tiger King himself, Joe Exotic, remains in prison for his murder-for-hire plot against Baskin.
