HBO's Hawaii-set class satire The White Lotus just might be the show of the summer, so it's good news that the series has been renewed for a second season.
This second season will feature a different cast and a different location. According to an announcement from HBO, "The next chapter leaves Hawaii behind and follows a different group of vacationers as they jet to another White Lotus property and settle in temporarily amongst its inhabitants."
Creator/writer/director Mike White previously told TVLine, "It would have to be a different hotel, like, say, The White Lotus: San Tropez or something." He hinted that possibly some (but not all) of the cast members could return to this new location.
The sixth and final episode of the show's first season airs this Sunday (August 22).
