While the theme music from Season 2 was still ringing in our ears, HBO announced last March that the third season of The White Lotus will be set in Thailand. Now they've given us some casting details for the rich-people drama's third instalment, set to arrive in 2025.
Sex Education star Aimee Lou Wood is among the new additions to the cast — a new set of hotel guests at a new hotel — for Season 3. She'll be joined by Walton Goggins (Justified), Patrick Schwarzenegger (Gen V), Sam Nivola (Maestro) and Sarah Catherine Hook (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It).
Previously announced actors also on board to check in to The White Lotus include Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films), Michelle Monaghan (Mission: Impossible, True Detective), Parker Posey (Beau Is Afraid, The Good Wife) and Leslie Bibb (Iron Man, Jupiter's Legacy), as well as Dom Hetrakul and Tayme Thapthimtong.
Aside from series creator Mike White returning to write and direct, Natasha Rothwell is the only returning player we know of; she's set to reprise her Season 1 role as spa manager Belinda. After delays due to the writers' and actors' strikes, filming for Season 3 is scheduled to begin early this year.
