The next standalone film in Disney's ever-growing slate of Star Wars stories is the long-awaited Han Solo origin story. Dynamic directing duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller have just started shooting the film, and as could be expected their punny sense of humour has surfaced on set.
Chris Miller announced the first day of shooting on Twitter, and with it came a couple of nerdy jokes. He captioned his photo "Han First Shot," a reference to the controversial whodunnit in A New Hope.
As if that weren't enough, the film has been given a hilarious working title. If you look at the slate, you'll see that the film is called Star Wars: Red Cup. The iconic red cups that appear at frat parties around the world are, of course, manufactured by a company called Solo.
Giggle with glee at all of the nerdy references in Chris Miller's tweet below. The movie that probably won't be called Red Cup will star Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo and Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian.
