David Lynch will reportedly be premiering a new feature film at this year's Cannes Film Festival, a project that he's managed to keep completely off of anyone's radar.
As reported by Variety, the secret film will, perhaps unsurprisingly, feature long-time Lynch collaborator Laura Dern in an unspecified role — allegedly either a cameo appearance or supporting part — but that's about all the information available at the moment.
The last feature film that Lynch released was 2006's Inland Empire, for which he famously launched an Oscar campaign for Dern by renting a cow and posting up next to a billboard in Los Angeles. He made his television return in 2017 with the acclaimed Twin Peaks: The Return, but a new feature film from Lynch would be a pretty big deal!
