If a Sandra Oh and Awkwafina team-up sounds too good to be true, it's not, as the pair are coming together for a new Netflix comedy.
So far, the film does not have a title or director, but Oh and Awkwafina will play a pair of sisters in the feature, which will be penned by Jen D'Angelo (the screenwriter behind the upcoming Hocus Pocus sequel).
In the film, Oh will play a lonely recluse who has her life flipped upside down by a train wreck of a sister, played by Awkwafina, with the pair coming together by achieving a life-long goal of becoming a contestant on recluse's favourite game show.
Jessica Elbaum and Will Ferrell are producing the film for Gloria Sanchez. Itay Reiss and Maggie Haskins from Artists First are also producing, as well as D'Angelo, Awkwafina and Oh, Deadline reports.
